About the Position
This position will provide a range of functions to support the Project Management Office (PMO) including administration, finance, project management, support to activities and internal stakeholder communication.
Essential Job Criteria
Perform the administrative function for the PMO by managing functions such as group email accounts, support to Objective document management, team compliance with mandatory training and staff trackers as well as reconciling contractor reports and invoices for delegate approval.
Support the financial management function by contributing to forecasting and budgeting activities.
Undertake procurement, accounts payable/receivable and administration of commitments in line with sound processes and governance practices. Ensure team compliance and education by undertaking periodic spot-checks, audits and upskilling of the workforce in relation to Defence policy.
Provide support to the Contracts and Purchasing Manager to manage sustainment contracts with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) including requests for information, quote evaluation and stakeholder engagement regarding procurement recommendations.
Co-ordinate arrangements for testing activities including range bookings, participating in planning meetings, assistance with vehicle and equipment movements, management of the synchronisation matrix and inputs into stakeholder information including the administration instruction.
Participate on-site for periods during testing activities to provide administrative and logistics support.
Contribute to Predict! risk register reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure that risks in areas of responsibility are proactively identified, managed, and mitigated.
Provide inputs into a range of stakeholder meetings including working groups, workshops and IPTs. Provide other advice and support to the PMO such as travel administration.

Ability to analyse, develop and implement work plans to support delivery of outcomes, understand critical success factors and recommend changes.
Essential Qualifications
The following requirements of this position are considered fundamental to the position:
Relevant industry and/or domain work experience.
Desirable Criteria
Recognised qualifications or experience in project management, finance and/or contract management;
Knowledge commensurate with the skill level required of relevant Australian and International Standards, regulations, and Defence requirements; and
Completion of Defence courses in simple and complex procurement, risk management and capability management.
Preferable Defence Experience
Defence
and/or CASG experience.
